To Use Desktop Computer with LCD Projector

  • To display computer image on projector, use the Control Panel on top of instructor station (located to the left of the front of the room). (Pictured above).  
  • Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. The screen will lower. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is slowly turning on.
  • Press PC button on input selector of control panel.
  • The computer image should appear on screen.
  • Adjust volume, if needed, with volume knob on control panel.
  • To temporarily mute the image, press the PIC MUTE button on the control panel.
  • When finished, log off computer, then press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking.

To Use Wireless Keyboard

  • Remove wireless keyboard from the charging base (located in the closet to the left of the front of the room).
  • Ensure that On/Off switch on upper right side is set to On (orange dot will appear.)
  • Place keyboard at desired location on the seminar table.
  • To move the cursor, use your finger on the round trackpad on lower right of keyboard.  (To Click, double tap on trackpad.)
  • To scroll vertically, place your finger on the white dot on the trackpad, and then turn clockwise to scroll down and counterclockwise to scroll up.
  • When finished, leave keyboard power on and return it to the charging base.

To Use Laptop with Projector

  • There is a laptop cable on the side of the rack located in the closet to the left of the front of the room. Plug laptop cable into laptop's external monitor jack, and connect the audio cable to the headphones jack on your laptop.
  • Turn on laptop.
  • To display laptop image on projector, use the Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above)
  • Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Scrren will lower.  Button will blink, indicating that the projector is slowly turning on.
  • Press Laptop button on control panel input selector.
  • Laptop image should appear on screen. If image is not optimal, press the Auto Image button on the control panel.
  • If needed, adjust volume with knob on Control Panel.
  • To temporarily mute the image, press the PIC MUTE button on the control panel.
  • When finished, turn off and unplug laptop, then press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking. Projector will then turn off.

To Use the BluRay Player

  • Turn on BluRay player, located inside the equipment rack (inside the closet to the left of the front of the room). (this unit plays both standard and BluRay DVDs and is multi-region.)  It takes a minute for the player to turn on.  Display will say "Hello" and then three dashes before the eject button can be pushed. Insert DVD.
  • To display DVD image on projector, use Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above)
  • Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Screen will lower.  Button will blink, indicating that the projector is slowly turning on.
  • Press the BluRay button on Control Panel input selector.
  • Operate DVD player with buttons on the top control panel, or the provided remote control.
  • Adjust volume using knob on Control Panel.
  • When finished, press the Display OFF button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking. Eject DVD and turn off DVD player.

To Show a VHS Videotape

  • The VCR/DVD combo player is located inside the equipment rack (inside the closet to the left of the from of the room). Turn on DVD/VCR player and insert tape.
  • To display VCR on projector, use the Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above)
  • Press and hold Display On button for two seconds. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is slowly turning on.
  • Press VCR button on Control Panel input selector.
  • Insert VHS tape in the VCR.
  • Operate VCR player using buttons on top control panel.
  • Adjust volume with knob on Control Panel.
  • When finished, press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking. Eject tape and turn off VCR player.
