Canon Printers: Select the Paper Tray in Windows

January 2015 Update: All of Kenyon's Canon public printers have been replaced by new Ricoh public printers. For documentation on our Ricoh printers, please see this link. Over the months of January and February, we will be replacing all departmental Canon printers with new Ricoh printers. This documentation will remain until all the Canon printers have departed

These instructions detail how to select which paper tray in a Canon Printer that you would like your document to print from in Windows. This is most often used to print documents from the Stack Bypass when using specific paper.

  1. In the application from which you want to print, select File > Print.
  2. Select the printer you want to use, then click Properties.

  3. In the Properties window, click the Paper Source tab.

  4. In the Paper Source box, select the tray from which you want to print.

  5. Click OK.
