Audio-Visual Equipment in Classrooms

Disability Services "READ & SCAN" Workstations

There are two workstations with "Read &  Scan" capabilities, located in the Black Box Theater building and in Library Building A. Use of the Kurzweil reader can be arranged through the Office of Disability Services, x5453. This equipment was purchased with Disability Services funds. The computer in the Black Box Theater includes a high speed scanner and printer.

DVD Drives

There are CD/DVD drives in the Windows workstations located in the following buildings and rooms:

  • Crawford Center, Sam Mather, room 206
  • Fischman 009
  • Gund lab, Gund Commons
  • Hayes 311
  • Roth lab, Peirce Hall, room L09


  • 19 MacBook Airs can be checked out by students at the Circulation desk.  More information about the Student Laptop Loan program can be found at the Student Laptop Loan Program page.
  • (6) Mac mini workstations in the south end of Gund Commons.

Microfilm Readers

The library's microfilm readers are located in Library Building A. An instruction booklet is available at each workstation. Assistance can be obtained at Helpline or at the Reference desk in Library Building B.

Printers, Public Labs

There are public printers located in Gund Commons, Hayes 311, Higley 211, Roth Computer Lab in Peirce Hall, Crawford Computer Lab in Sam Mather, and in Library Buildings A and B. Color printing is available for all of the above printers except for the printer located in Sam Mather.
