SASS "READ & SCAN" Workstations

There are two workstations with "Read &  Scan" capabilities, located on the third floor of Pierce Hall and in Library Building A.  Use of the Kurzweil reader can be arranged through the Office of Student Accessibiity and Support Services, x5453. This equipment was purchased with SASS Services funds.

DVD Drives

There are CD/DVD drives in the workstations located in the following buildings and rooms:

  • Gund lab, Gund Commons
  • Hayes 311
  • Roth lab, Peirce Hall, room L09
  • Library Building A
  • Library Building B
  • North Campus Study Building
  • Village Retail Study Space

Apple Computers

  • MacBook Airs can be checked out by students at the Circulation desk.  More information about the Student Laptop Loan program can be found at the Student Laptop Loan Program page.
  • (4) iMac workstations in the Library Mod C building
  • (18) iMac workstations in the Sam Mather 206 Crawford computer lab

Microfilm Readers

The library's microfilm readers are located in Library Building A. An instruction booklet is available at each workstation. Assistance can be obtained at Helpline or at the Reference desk in Library Building B.

  • Fischman Hall 2nd floor 
  • Roth Computer Lab (Peirce Hall L09)
  • Crawford Computer Lab (Sam Mather 206)
