Database of the Week: HathiTrust

LBIS is excited to announce that Kenyon College is now a member of the HathiTrust.

Founded in 2008, the HathiTrust is a not-for-profit collaborative of academic and research libraries that has preserved 17+ million digitized items (total number of currently digitized items is 17,437,240 total volumes) for scholarly purposes. The HathiTrust offers you reading access to these materials to the fullest extent allowable by U.S. copyright law, computational access to the entire corpus for scholarly research, and more. To access the HathiTrust,  go to https://www.hathitrust.org/. Select the Login button (yellow button located in top right hand side of your screen). Select Kenyon College from the pulldown list. This will bring you to an authentication page. You should login using your Kenyon ID and password followed by Duo to authenticate.

If you have any questions about finding or using any library resource, don't hesitate to email a librarian or contact the library's Research & Reference Desk. The library staff is available to help you, whether you are on-campus or studying remotely. The Research & Reference Desk is available daily (hours vary) via chat, text (740-444-4031), and email (reference@kenyon.edu). You may also make an appointment with a librarian for one-on-one help.

The Research & Reference Desk, which is located in Library B, will not be physically open this semester. All library research assistance will be offered via chat, email, text, or by appointment (via Google Meet).
