Ask us any question, from anywhere on campus (or the world)

Did you know that you may ask your library questions from the comfort of your room, from your favorite campus study spot, or, in fact, from anywhere in the world?

If you aren't in Library B (where the Research & Reference Desk, Helpline Desk, and the Circulation Desk are located), you may still ask us yours questions.

Research & Reference Desk (hours)

Helpline (hours)

Circulation Desk (hours)

  • Phone: 740-427-5187

The library also maintains an FAQ which has answers to many questions. If you don't see your question listed, submit it, and a member of our staff will publish a response.

One question we are often asked is, “Where are the books?” Currently, the books (and many other library materials) are stored in a remote storage facility, but you may still easily access them. The request process is simple:

  1. Find the book you want using our CONSORT, our library catalog which we share with Denison University, The College of Wooster, and Ohio Wesleyan University
  2. Click the turquoise Request button
  3. Fill in your name and the bar code number on the back of your student ID
  4. Choose which library’s copy you want to request, if given this option
  5. Books from Kenyon’s remote storage facility may take up to 24 hours to arrive. Books from the other 3 CONSORT schools may take 3-5 days to arrive
  6. When your requested books are ready for you in Library B, you will receive an email informing you
  7. To collect your book, go to the Circulation Desk in Library B and show your Kenyon student ID (AKA your library card)
  8. If you have any questions about this process, ask someone at either the Circulation Desk or the Research & Reference Desk

If you ever have any questions, you are welcome to stop by Library B (the building in the middle). Ask any member of our staff, at any of the service desks, we will be happy to direct you to the correct location.
