Microforms: Microfilm and Microfiche

The Mcroforms Collection (which consists of both rolls of microfilm and sheets of microfiche) is located in cabinets on the second floor of the library, beyond the Circulation Desk (and behind the Information Desk).

Current and historical periodicals and newspapers are organized alphabetically in the cabinets. Four microform readers are located in front of the cabinets. Each reader is equipped with an instruction guide, but don't hesitate to stop by the Information Desk and ask a reference librarian for help.

Christian Science Monitor
Full text of the Monitor is available on microfilm, 1960-present, and on Academic Universe (LexisNexis), 1980-present. Printed index to the Christian Science Monitor, from 1960 to the present, is located in the Reference Section [REF AI21 C462 B44].

New York Times
Full text of the NYT is available on microfilm, 1851-present, and on Academic Universe (LexisNexis), 1980-present. The printed index to the New York Times, from 1851 to the present, is located in the Reference Section [REF AI21 .N45].

Times of India
Available in microfilm from 1861-1895 and 1897-1978. There is no subject index. It is also available online from 2001 through the present.

Times of London
Full text of the Times is available on microfilm, 1790-present, Online, 1785-1985,  and on Academic Universe (LexisNexis), 1985-present.  Printed indexes to the Times of London, from 1735 to the present, are located in the Reference Section [Ref AI21.T458].

Wall Street Journal
Full text of the Journal is available on microfilm, 1961-present. Printed index to the Wall Street Journal, from 1961 to the present, is lcoated in the Reference Section [REF AI21 .W35].

The Gerritsen Collection of Women's History, 1543-1945
This microfilm/microfiche collection is international in scope and includes over 4000 monographs and 265 serials. The richest part of the collection centers on the 19th century. The index to the collection, located in the microfilm area, uses these categories to divide the collection:
