  • Religion Index (ATLA) [1949- ]
    Produced by the America Theological Library Association, is a comprehensive reference database designed to support religious and theological scholarship. It contains citations from more than 1,400 international journal titles and 14,000 multi-author works and book reviews related to religious studies.
  • Religious and Theological Abstracts [1958- ]
    [Ref Index Table BR1.R286 and Ref BR1.R286]
    Indexes and abstracts religious literature. More recent issues are located on the Reference Index table and older issues are located in the Reference Stacks. Subject and author indexes are cumulated in the last issue of each bound volume.
  • Index Islamicus (1906 - 2003 )
    [Information Center CD-Rom]
    Includes citations to the worldwide literature in European languages on Islam, the Middle East and the Muslim world.
  • Religion and Philosophy Collection
    A comprehensive database covering such topics as world religions, major denominations, biblical studies, religious history, epistemology, political philosophy, philosophy of language, moral philosophy and the history of philosophy. This database offers more than 300 full text journals, including more than 250 peer-reviewed titles.
  • Humanities International Complete
    A comprehensive database covering 2,000 journals, as well as books and reference sources in the humanities. This database provides citation information for articles, essays and reviews. Photographs, paintings and illustrations are also referenced.
  • Arts and Humanities Citation Index (1990 - )
    Indexes 1,100 of the world's leading arts and humanities journals, as well as covering individually selected, relevant items from over 7,000 major science and social science journals.

  • This site provides statistics on church membership throughout the United States, with interactive reporting features for data from 1980-1990.
  • Buddhanet
    This website is a comprehensive set of electronic tools, art work, texts, and other materials that support English-speaking Buddhist sects. The site was founded by the Buddha Dharma Education Association. Although its intended audience is not exclusively scholarly, the site holds so much content that it is valuable to academics and to practitioners.
  • Image Database for Biblical Studies
    Provides access to 700 images through subject and geographical location that pertain to Bible Studies, Archeology, and Classics.
  • Intute: Arts and Humanities - Religion
    A service dedicated to discovering, evaluating and cataloguing online resources in the humanities.
  • Islamic Studies, Islam, Arabic and Religion
    This site from the University of Georgia provides information on Islamic populations, primary sources, secondary sources, and materials for students of the arabic language.
  • The Jewish History Resource Center
    This site appeals of 6,000 links on 30 categories of Jewish History appeals to a broad audience. Maps, bibliograpies, discussion boards, are among its resources.
