FYI: Guide books/travel books often provide insight into the architectural descriptions of buildings. The Bookstore has many guide books and the library has a number (i.e. Baedeker's Great Britain DA/650/B2/1927 for example in the main collection). Some of these books have historical and architectural information which may help you in your selection of a cathedral. We also have in the books on medieval religious life, artists and individual cathedrals.
