LBIS regularly communicates with constituents regarding technology issues or offerings. In doing so, please note the following guidelines for our official communications:

• We will never use a generic account named “Admin” or “Administrator.”
• We will never email you an executable program.
• We will always provide contact information for an LBIS staff member who can provide additional information or answer any questions you may have.
• We will always sign our official communications with the name, email address and telephone number of an LBIS employee.

Should you receive communications that appear to be from LBIS in an official capacity, and do not follow these guidelines, please notify LBIS. Some spam email may appear to be from LBIS, but is in fact spam.
