Personal Web Pages at Kenyon
Who Can Get a Personal Web Page?
All Kenyon students, staff and faculty may place a personal web page on the web server, called personal.kenyon.edu. Each personal web site may use up to 5 megabytes of storage space. To get started on your personal web page, contact HelpLine. Note: Student organizations may also create a web page on Kenyon's web server. Student organizations officers must go to the Student Activities office in the Student Affairs Center to apply.

The URL for your personal page will be:
http://personal.kenyon.edu/yourusernameThe URL for other personal pages at Kenyon will follow the same format. To determine if a person has a personal web page on the server, try to connect to the following URL with the appropriate username substituted for username below:
http://personal.kenyon.edu/username
If you do not know a person's Kenyon username, it can be found by searching the Kenyon directory. The username is the part of the person's email address preceding @kenyon.edu.
Note: Personal web pages may not be used for commercial or partisan political purposes. In order to preserve space on the web server, users cannot store any files in their personal page directory that are not active elements in their web site. Also excluded are graphic files in the TIFF format, as well as ZIP files that are not posted as available for downloading.
