Audio visual equipment in classrooms: Almost 50 classrooms are equipped with audio-visual resources. A list of these classrooms, along with instructions for use, can be found at:

Disability Services "READ & SCAN" Workstations
There are two workstations with "Read & Scan" capabilities, located in the Black Box Theater building and the group study room in the library. Use of the Kurzweil reader can be arranged through the Office of Disability Services, pbx 5453. This equipment was purchased with Disability Services funds. The computer in the Black Box Theater includes a high speed scanner and printer.
There are 4 additional computers (numbers 01, 08, 09, and 16) in the Gund Computer lab that are loaded with TextHELP Read and Write. This software is most often used as a voice editing tool. A small reading tool bar can be pulled up to sit on any word processor program. The program includes word prediction, spell check, homonym checker, dictionary and a calculator. Assistance in using this software can be obtained through the Office of Disability Services, pbx 5453.
Distance Video Conferencing Facility
The Remote Collaboration Facility, a suite of equipment for video conferencing purposes only is located in the Multimedia Theater in Olin Library. See the Remote Collaboration Classroom page for more information.

Macintoshes

- (3) Macs in Gund Commons for email and web browsing only. They do not require a network login.
- (6) Mac mini workstations in the south end of Gund Commons.
Microfilm Readers
The library's microfilm readers are located on the second level of the Library just beyond the Circulation Desk. An instruction booklet is available at each workstation. Assistance can be obtained at the HelpLine/Reference Desk.
Monitors, Large Screen
There is one networked Windows workstation connected to 2 large-screen monitors located in the Philomathesian room, Ascension Hall, room 220.
Printers, Color
Color printers in the departments listed below are available for use by the faculty, departmental majors and course-enrolled students only. Print jobs must be academic in nature. Contact the secretary of the department for more information. The color printer located at the HelpLine desk is available to all members of the Kenyon community for academic purposes. Color printing is limited to one copy; additional copies can be obtained from the Print Shop.
