Note #1: If, after turning the Power and selecting PC on the control panel, the projector gives a blue screen, you may need to Power the system Off, wait 2 minutes for the projector to cool down, and power the system on again.
Note #2: The audio visual equipment rack in this room has an I/O button on the bottom component of rack that must be left ON at all times. (I = ON, O = OFF). Otherwise, the components in the rack may not work, and the sound system will be unavailable.

To Use Computer or Laptop with the Projector

  • Turn on classroom computer. If using laptop, connect it to the VGA cable on tabletop.

  • Press anywhere on the black AMX Control Panel touch screen.

  • Press the Start button (#1 above).

  • Press the System Power ON button (#2). The projector will turn on.

  • Press the Main PC or LAPTOP button,depending on which computer you are using.

  • If your presentation has audio, press the Speaker icon, and press the arrows for Volume Up or Down.

  • Note: When finished, press Power - ON/OFF button (#5) in lower right corner of touch screen, then press the All Equipment - OFF button (#6).

To Show a Video

  • Press anywhere on the black AMX Control Panel touch screen.
  • Press the Start button (#1).
  • Press the System Power ON button (#2). The projector will turn on.
  • Press the VHS button (#3).
  • Insert tape in the VCR.
  • Control the VCR with Control Panel touch screen buttons (#4).
  • To control audio, press the Speaker icon, and arrows for Volume Up and down will appear.
  • When finished eject tape.
  • Note: When finished, press Power - ON/OFF button (#5) in lower right corner of touch screen, then press the All Equipment - OFF button (#6).

 

To Show a DVD or Use CD Player

  • Press anywhere on the black AMX Control Panel touch screen.
  • Press the Start button (#1).
  • Press the System Power ON button (#2). The projector will turn on.
  • Press the DVD button.
  • Insert DVD in the DVD player.
  • Control the DVD player with Control Panel touch screen buttons (#4).
  • To control audio, press the Speaker icon, and arrows for Volume Up and down will appear.
  • When finished eject tape.
  • Note: When finished, press Power - ON/OFF button (#5) in lower right corner of touch screen, then press the All Equipment - OFF button (#6).
