The following Information may be helpful to you or your speaker when preparing for a presentation with technology needs at Kenyon.
We offer several services:
Technical Assistance - Request Form
Tim Neviska, LBIS' Events and Classroom Technology Specialist, can personally assist at the event with setup, operation, and troubleshooting. Examples of technology support offered include PowerPoint presentations, wireless microphones, large screen video display, etc...
For this level of support, please fill out the above Event Support Form at least one week before your planned event.
Event Recording - Request Form
To request a video recording of your event, please fill out the above Event Recording Form at least a week in advance. A DVD or VHS copy with be provided for you. There is a cost-recovery charge of $10 per hour for this service.
Requests may be limited to no more than 3 per department or individual per week depending on availability of videographers. If desired, video cameras are available for checkout at the Circulation desk and multimedia editing stations are located on the second floor of Olin Library.
Consulting Services
For large or very high-profile events, you may need equipment or services from a commercial audiovisual company. In these cases, contact Tim Neviska, Events and Classroom Technology Specialist, who will be happy to recommend a vendor and help you communicate with them as appropriate.
Self-Service
Portable AV equipment is available for checkout from the LBIS Circulation Desk to all Kenyon community members.
