A-V equipment: CHL 114

To Use Desktop Computer with Projector

  • Turn on computer and monitor.
  • To display computer image on projector screen, use Control Panel on top of AV cabinet (see image above).
  • Press Display Power button. Wait for light to stop blinking.
  • Press PC button. Wait for projector to power up.
  • Computer image should appear on screen.
  • Adjust volume.
  • TURN OFF ALL EQUIPMENT WHEN DONE: Press the Display Power button and hold for 3 seconds. Turn off computer and monitor.

To Use Laptop with Projector

  • There should be a laptop cable hung over the top of equipment cabinet. (If not, check sides and back of cabinet for cable). Plug laptop cable into laptop's external monitor jack.
  • Turn on laptop.
  • To display laptop image on projector screen, use the Control Panel on top of AV cabinet.
  • Press Display Power button. Wait for light to stop blinking.
  • Press Portable PCbutton and wait for projector to power up.
  • Laptop image should appear on screen. Note: You may have to adjust laptop settings to get image to project on screen. Call HelpLine at 5700 if help is needed.
  • Adjust volume on Control Panel.
  • TURN OFF ALL EQUIPMENT WHEN DONE: Press the Display Power button and hold for 3 seconds. Turn off laptop.

To Show A Video

  • Turn on VCR player and insert tape.
  • To display VCR on projector screen, use Control Panel on top of AV cabinet.
  • Press Display Power button. Wait for light to stop blinking.
  • Press VCR button on Control Panel.
  • Wait for projector to power up.
  • Operate VCR player using buttons on control panel.
  • TURN OFF ALL EQUIPMENT WHEN DONE: Press the Display Power button and hold for 3 seconds. Turn off VCR player.

To Show A DVD

  • Turn on DVD player and insert DVD.
  • To display DVD image on projector screen, use Control Panel on top of AV cabinet.
  • Press the Display Power button. Wait for light to stop blinking.
  • Press the DVD button on Control Panel.
  • Wait for projector to power up.
  • Operate DVD player with buttons on the control panel.
  • TURN OFF ALL EQUIPMENT WHEN DONE: Press the Display Power button and hold for 3 seconds. Turn off DVD player.
