To Use Desktop Computer with LCD Projector

  • To display computer image on projector, use the Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above)
  • Press Display On button. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is slowly turning on.
  • Press Lectern PC button on input selector of control panel.
  • The computer image should appear on screen.
  • Adjust volume, if needed, with volume knob on control panel.
  • When finished, log off computer, then press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking.

To Use Laptop with Projector

  • There is a laptop cable next to the monitor on top of the instructor station. Plug laptop cable into laptop's external monitor jack, and connect the audio cable to the headphones jack on your laptop.
  • Turn on laptop.
  • To display laptop image on projector, use the Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above)
  • Press Display On button. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is slowly turning on.
  • Press Laptop button on control panel input selector.
  • Laptop image should appear on screen. If image is not optimal, press the Auto Image button on the control panel.
  • If needed, adjust volume with knob on Control Panel.
  • When finished, turn off and unplug laptop, then press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking. Projector will then turn off.

To Show A DVD

  • Turn on DVD/VCR player, located inside the instructor station. Insert DVD.
  • To display DVD image on projector, use Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above)
  • Press Display On button. Wait until light stops blinking.
  • Press the DVD/VCR button on Control Panel input selector, then push DVD/VCR button on face of DVD/VCR player to select DVD.
  • Use control panel (pictured above) to control playback.
  • Adjust volume using knob on Control Panel.
  • When finished, press the Display OFF button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking. Eject DVD and turn off DVD player.

To Show A VHS Videotape

  • The VCR/DVD combo player is located inside the instructor station. Turn on VCR/DVD player and insert tape.
  • To display VCR on projector, use the Control Panel on top of instructor station. (Pictured above)
  • Press Display On button. Button will blink, indicating that the projector is slowly turning on.
  • Press the DVD/VCR button on Control Panel input selector, then push DVD/VCR button on face of DVD/VCR player to select VCR.
  • Use control panel to control playback.
  • Adjust volume with knob on Control Panel.
  • When finished, press the Display Off button, holding it at least 2 seconds until it starts blinking. Eject tape and turn off VCR player.

To Show Slides

  • Get slide projector remote from locked projection booth.
  • Turn on either or both Kodak slide projectors, as required.
  • Note: Blank spaces in carousel will display black on screen.
  • When finished, return remote to projection booth.
  • Move slider on projector to "Fan," then, after a minute of cooling off, power off projector(s) using remote control.
