Note: The RackRider unit has an OFF/ON switch (I/O) that must be ON for all equipment to work. It is located in the top right of the unit.

To Use Desktop Computer with Projector

  • Turn on computer and monitor.
  • To display computer image on projector screen, use Control Panel on top of AV cabinet (# 4 in image above).
  • Press Display Power button (# 1 in picture above). Wait for light to stop blinking.
  • Press Computer (or PC 1) button (# 2). Wait for projector to power up.
  • Computer image should appear on screen.
  • Adjust volume (# 3).
  • TURN OFF ALL EQUIPMENT WHEN DONE: Press the Display Power button and hold for 3 seconds (# 1). Turn off computer and monitor.

To Use Laptop with Projector

  • There should be a laptop cable (#7) hung over the top of equipment cabinet. (If not, check sides and back of cabinet for cable). Plug laptop cable into laptop's external monitor jack.
  • Turn on laptop.
  • To display laptop image on projector screen, use the Control Panel on top of AV cabinet (# 4).
  • Press Display Power button (# 1 in picture above). Wait for light to stop blinking.
  • Press Laptop (or PC 2) button (# 2) and wait for projector to power up.
  • Laptop image should appear on screen. Note: You may have to adjust laptop settings to get image to project on screen. Call HelpLine at 5700 if help is needed.
  • Adjust volume (# 3) on Control Panel.
  • TURN OFF ALL EQUIPMENT WHEN DONE: Press the Display Power button and hold for 3 seconds (# 1). Turn off laptop.

To Show A Video

  • Turn on DVD/VCR player and insert tape.
  • To display VCR on projector screen, use Control Panel on top of AV cabinet (# 4 in image above).
  • Press Display Power button (# 1 in picture above). Wait for light to stop blinking.
  • Press VCR button on Control Panel.
  • Wait for projector to power up.
  • On DVD/VCR player press DVD/VCR button (# 5) until VCR's LED is lit.
  • Operate DVD/VCR player using buttons on front panel and top of cabinet.(#4 & #6). (Note: There is a second control panel on top of the cabinet to control the operation of the VCR).
  • Adjust volume (# 3) on Control Panel.
  • TURN OFF ALL EQUIPMENT WHEN DONE: Press the Display Power button and hold for 3 seconds (# 1). Turn off DVD/VCR player.

To Show A DVD

  • Turn on DVD/VCR player and insert DVD.
  • To display DVD image on projector screen, use Control Panel on top of AV cabinet (# 4 in image above).
  • Press the Display Power button (# 1 in picture above). Wait for light to stop blinking.
  • Press the DVD (# 2) on Control Panel.
  • Wait for projector to power up.
  • On DVD/VCR player, press DVD/VCR (# 5) button until DVD's LEDis lit.
  • Operate DVD/VCR player with buttons on the front panel and top of cabinet. (#4 & #6). (Note: There is a second control panel on top of the cabinet to control the operation of the DVD).
  • Adjust volume (# 3) on Control Panel.
  • TURN OFF ALL EQUIPMENT WHEN DONE: Press the Display Power button and hold for 3 seconds (# 1). Turn off DVD/VCR player.
