Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition Program Removal for Windows
Kenyon has purchased licenses for antivirus software for Kenyon students. As long as you are on campus, you may use this software. When you are no longer at Kenyon, you must uninstall all copies of antivirus software licensed by Kenyon College.
This document contains instructions on how to completely uninstall Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition software on a Windows computer. If you are going to continue to use this computer on the Internet, you should replace this product with a product licensed to you.
Click on the Start button, click on Settings, click on Control Panel. Click on Add or Remove Programs. Scroll down until you find either Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition or Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition. Click on the Remove button.

Click on the Yes button to start the removal process.

You will see a dialogue box like below as Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition is removed from your system.

If Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition is the only product from Symantec installed on your system, you should uninstall LiveUpdate. Click on the Start button, click on Settings, click on Control Panel. Click on Add or Remove Programs. Scroll down until you find LiveUpdate (Symantec Corporate). Click on the Remove button.

Click on the Yes button to start the removal process.

A dialogue box will show the status of the removal (using blocks to estimate the amount completed). When the uninstall is complete, a window with the message "LiveUpdate has been uninstalled successfully" will pop open. Click on the OK button.

Restart your computer to complete the removal process.
