Departments
Library and Information Services is organized in three interconnected departments. Another way of understanding the work that we do in partnership with the other divisions of the College is by looking at a list of What We Do .
Information Systems
This department provides the management, design, and planning of the network, the telecommunications system, the central servers, the administrative information systems, information security architecture and services, and the technology infrastructure in general.
Information Resources
This department provides library collection development, reference and instruction services, technology installation and support in computer labs and classrooms, the Helpline, and personal computer support and consulting for faculty and administrators.
Library Services
This department provides circulation, interlibrary loan, and course reserves services, manages the special collections and archives, and manages and sets policies for the library buildings themselves. Also included are acquisitions, cataloging, and stacks management, collectively known as Collection Services, which is a joint venture with Denison University and includes staff from both Kenyon's LBIS and Denison's William H. Doane Library.
Institutional Research
Organization and leadership of a distributed institutional research function.
